FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach Wedson Nyirenda has named his starting XI for this afternoon’s FDH Bank Premiership encounter against Masters FC at Mpira Stadium.
The fixture marks Bullets’ first match in Blantyre this season as The People’s Team return home looking to build on last weekend’s victory and secure back-to-back league wins for the first time in the current campaign.
Nyirenda makes one change to the side that started the 2-1 victory over Kamuzu Barracks last weekend, with Frank Willard returning to the starting lineup.
Willard replaces Paul Master, who remains unavailable for selection.
Innocent Nyasulu continues in goal behind a back four of Yamikani Mologeni, Blessings Mpokera, Emmanuel Kaunga and Prince Chiumia.
Willard joins Wongani Lungu in midfield, while Maxwell Phodo, Clever Kalambo and George Chaomba operate behind Ephraim Kondowe, who retains his place up front after opening his league account last weekend.
There are also two changes to the matchday squad, with left-back Aaron Chilipa returning to the bench in place of Henry Chiwaya, while Dastan Banda comes in for Hassan Kajoke.
Peter Banda and Misheck Billiat provide attacking options from the bench, while Aaron Chilipa, Chawanangwa Gumbo, Mike Mkwate, Yankho Singo, Andrew Jovinala, Dastan Banda and Pilirani Mapira complete Nyirenda’s matchday squad.
Paul Master and Madalitso Safuli remain unavailable for selection.
Bullets will be aiming to extend their unbeaten league start to eight matches and record back-to-back league victories for the first time this season.
