FIRST TEAM
The People’s Team claimed a 2-1 victory over Kamuzu Barracks in Sunday’s FDH Bank Premiership encounter at Civo Stadium.
Ephraim Kondowe handed Bullets an early lead before substitute Olson Kanjira levelled for the hosts in the second half. However, a late own goal from Hope Namadzunda secured all three points and Nyirenda’s first victory since taking charge of The People’s Team.
The result extended Bullets’ unbeaten start to the campaign and lifted The People’s Team to fourth place on the table with 13 points from seven matches.

Bullets Reserves were not in action after their scheduled ThumbsUp Southern Region Football League fixture against The Boyz was postponed due to the unavailability of the match venue.
