The Reserves extended their winning run, the Under-19s moved top with another clean-sheet victory, the First Team suffered a first league defeat and Prince Chalera gained more valuable senior experience during a weekend of mixed fortunes for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets recorded two victories across the club over the weekend as our Reserves and Under-19 sides continued their impressive league campaigns.
The People’s Team saw our unbeaten FDH Bank Premiership start come to an end away to Goshen City Dedza Dynamos, while Chalera was the only one of the club’s four players currently out on loan to feature for his temporary side.

First Team
The People’s Team suffered our first FDH Bank Premiership defeat of the season following a narrow 1-0 loss away to Goshen City Dedza Dynamos at Dedza Stadium on Saturday.
Marko Chiwaya’s 40th-minute goal proved decisive as the hosts held firm to secure all three points and end our unbeaten start after five victories and five draws from the opening ten matches.
The result left Bullets fourth in the standings with 20 points from 11 matches.
Our next competitive assignment will be against Chitipa United at home, where The People’s Team will look to produce an immediate response.

Reserves
Bullets Reserves extended their winning run to three consecutive SRFA FINCA Division One League matches with a commanding 5-1 victory over Chilomoni FC at Kamuzu Stadium.
Jazil Bannet scored twice, while Kondwani Chaula, Limbitso Chimanjamanja and Alex White also found the net as Henry Kabichi’s side produced another impressive attacking display.
The victory lifted the young Bullets to 16 points in the standings and represented their joint-second-biggest winning margin of the season, behind the 6-1 victory over Mwanza United in June.

Under-19
Our Under-19 side maintained their perfect start to the 2026 FCB Katswiri Under-19 League with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Mighty Wanderers Youth in Saturday morning’s Blantyre mini derby at Mpira Stadium.
The victory made it four wins from four matches and moved Yamikani Fodya’s side to the top of the standings with 12 points, dislodging Wanderers, who had led on goal difference before the fixture.
The young Bullets also remain the only team in the competition yet to concede a goal, having recorded four consecutive clean sheets.

Loan Watch
Forward Prince Chalera started for Bangwe All Stars in their 1-1 NBS Bank National Division League draw against Ndirande Stars before being substituted in the 84th minute.
He was the only one of the club’s four players currently out on loan to feature over the weekend, continuing to gain valuable competitive minutes through the player development pathway.
The Week Ahead
The First Team will not be involved in competitive action this week after exiting the Airtel Top 8 at the quarter-final stage a fortnight ago. No FDH Bank Premiership matches are scheduled as attention turns to the cup semi-finals.
Bullets Women will continue their pre-season preparations ahead of the start of the NBM Women’s Championship.
Defender Bernadetta Mkandawire and midfielder Lyna James remain away with Malawi in Morocco for the 2026 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which kicked off on Sunday.
