FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women will continue their journey in the Goshen-FAM Women’s League when they welcome FOMO at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday in a match set to kick off at 12:30 pm.
The two sides will meet for the first time as the Mulanje-based visitors were promoted to the Southern Region Women’s Football Association League at the end of last season.
Our ladies’ team started the 2024 league campaign on a good note by collecting maximum points in their opening match following their 18-1 triumph over 11 Stars away at Mpira Stadium last Saturday.
Speaking to media ahead of the match, Bullets Women head coach Maggie Chombo said her side had a good week preparing for the newcomers.
“We have worked on the mistakes we noted in our previous match against 11 Stars and we are well prepared to meet FOMO,” she disclosed.
Added Chombo: “We are taking each and every team seriously, especially these newly promoted teams because we know they want to keep their places in the league.”
Currently, the team has one fresh injury as Linda Nyangu suffered soft tissue damage during training this week and is expected to be out for at least seven days.
