Precious Phiri has signed a new contract that extends his stay with FCB Nyasa Big Bullets until February 2027.
The 26-year-old, who arrived at Bullets from Mighty Tigers in 2018, had an impressive 2023 campaign.
Phiri made 33 appearances in all competitions in the just-ended season as The People’s Team completed a historic quadruple.
He said after agreeing to a new deal: “I am very excited to extend my stay at this club for three more years. I have been here since 2018 and this has become my family, so it was easy for me to stay and I am happy. I am looking forward to the season ahead.”
Commenting on his exceptional game in the 2023 campaign, Phiri added: “I am versatile not because I am too skilled, but because I play according to instructions. I am playing in a very conducive environment that makes it easy for me to improve with each passing game. We had a very successful season and we hope for more in the 2024 season.”
