Share

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will face Dragon FC from Equatorial Guinea to kick-start the 2023 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League campaign.

The Malawi champions discovered the first preliminary-round opponents following a draw conducted in Egypt on Tuesday.

The two-legged preliminary fixture will see The People’s Team fly to Bata for the first leg between 18-20 August before playing host to Dragon a week later in Lilongwe.

Dragon FC, based in the city of Bata, plays in the Equatoguinean Liga Nacional de Fútbol.

54 clubs from 42 Member Associations are engaged in this season’s TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.

This season, Bullets will be looking to see off Dragon and progress to the second preliminary phase after bowing out of the first round in the past three attempts following defeats against Kenyan Gor Mahia, Zimbabwean FC Platinum and Tanzanian Simba SC.
