FCB Nyasa Big Bullets can confirm the departure of Anthony Mfune from the club.
Mfune was among the first team members Bullets released at the end of the 2024 season. The club offered to keep the striker until his full recovery after sending him for a knee surgery in Zambia in January.
The 24-year-old, who joined The People’s Team in 2021, has however opted to leave few weeks after starting his rehabilitation.
Following his arrival in Blantyre, Mfune made 66 appearances for Bullets, scoring 14 goals.
One of his key highlights in our colours was when he came off the bench to score a late winner against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in the famous Blantyre Derby at Kamuzu Stadium in the 2022 season.
