FCB Nyasa Big Bullets forward Anthony Mfune flew to Zambia on Thursday, where he is expected to undergo an arthroscopic operation on his left knee.
Mfune suffered a medial condyle stage five osteochondral defect during our 3-0 win over FOMO FC in July, keeping him out of action for the remainder of the 2024 season.
The 24-year-old is expected to undergo the surgery on Saturday at Royal Hospital in Lusaka before returning to Malawi on Tuesday.
Once the operation is done, the striker will start his rehabilitation with the medical team ahead of his full recovery.
