Babatunde Adepoju is the Hubertus Clausius Player of the Month for July.
The Nigerian secured his first prestigious monthly award this season with a series of outstanding performances, scoring six goals in six matches across all competitions in July.
His league goals included key strikes against Civil Service United, Karonga United and Bangwe All Stars.
The 28-year-old forward also played a crucial role in advancing The People’s Team to the FDH Bank Cup quarter-finals, netting against Bangwe All-Stars in the Round of 32 and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in the last 16.
With his impressive scoring record, Babatunde finished July as the top goal scorer and claims the award after getting more votes from our fans than fellow nominees Chikumbutso Salima, Nickson Nyasulu and Lloyd Aaron.
