Nyasa Big Bullets head coach Kalisto Pasuwa has made four changes to his previous starting XI for this afternoon’s Blantyre derby against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers.
Bullets will be away in the second edition of the Blantyre derby in the 2022 season on Sunday at the Kamuzu Stadium.
Clever Mkungula, Kesten Simbi and Ernest Petro, are back in the first XI after missing the 4-2 post-match penalties victory in the FDH Bank Cup round-of-16 tie against Moyale Barracks last week.
The trio has replaced Rabson Chiyenda, John Lanjesi and Yankho Singo, while Frank Willard, who rejoined The People’s Team from Mafco in July and came off the bench against Moyale, will be handed his full first team debut this afternoon to take Henry Kabichi’s place.
Pasuwa has also made a change to Bullets’ captaincy and this will see Precious Sambani wearing the armband against his former team, taking over from vice-captain Chimwemwe Idana, who led the team for a good part of the season following the absence of fist-captain, Lanjesi, who was recovering from an injury before his return two weeks ago.
Babatunde Adepoju will lead the frontline alongside Lanjesi Nkhoma and Patrick Mwaungulu.
Starting XI: Mkungula; Chirwa, Simbi, Wali, Sambani ©; Willard, Idana, Petro; Mwaungulu, Nkhoma, Babatunde.
Subs: Chimbamba, Nyasulu, Phiri, Kaonga, Fodya, Kabichi, Mgwira, Kajoke, Mfune.
