Bullets pre-season matches confirmed

As we edge close to the kick-off of the 2025 football season, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will feature in a series of friendly matches in preparation for the new campaign.

After finishing third in the TNM Super League last season, the 17-time champions will aim to have a strong pre-season to prepare for the upcoming term, which starts on 5 April.

The first of the arranged friendly matches for The People’s Team will be against Kamuzu Barracks on 16 March at the Champions Stadium in Mponela.

It will be our second time to return to Mponela, having spent ten days as part of the 2024 season preparations where we played two games against Dzaleka All Stars and Chatoloma Admarc.

After facing KB, a side that finished tenth in the TNM Super League last term, Peter Mponda’s side will make its debut in the Sapitwa 4 football tournament at Mulanje Park from 22-23 March.

This bonanza will feature four TNM Super League clubs, three from Blantyre; debutants Ekhaya FC, Mighty Wakawaka Tigers, Bullets, and Creck Sporting Club from Lilongwe.

The two-day event will provide an opportunity for Mponda to assess his team before kicking off the league next month after missing out on the 2025 Charity Shield for the first time since the 2016.

Bullets will then return to the Central Region where we will face Blue Eagles at Aubrey Dimba Stadium in Mchinji in our final pre-season friendly match on 30 March, six days before opening the league campaign against newcomers Songwe Border at Kamuzu Stadium.

The People’s Team will be looking forward to a successful pre-season period that will help the team return to its previous glory after failing to defend three of the four cups we won in the 2023 season.
