Midfielder Ernest Petro has been named the Hubertus Clausius Player of the Month award winner for June.
Our number 10 has been regularly nominated for the accolade in recent months, but it is his June output which has finally won him the accolade for the first time this season.
To claim the award, Petro got more votes from our fans than his fellow midfielders Patrick Mwaungulu and Lanjesi Nkhoma, who were also nominated for the award by our technical panel.
Bullets collected only four points out of the possible nine from the three games they played in June. Though it was an abysmal run for the defending champions, Petro was simply outstanding and truly deserves the award which previously was won by our Kenyan defender Clyde Senaji.
Many thanks to our fans for taking the time to vote, and congratulations to Ernest, keep going!
