FCB Nyasa Big Bullets young defender Chrispin Mapemba has been nominated for the coveted 2024 TNM Super League Awards in the Rookie of the Season category.
At just 19 years old, Mapemba made a remarkable impact in his debut season with the Bullets first team, with the nomination reflecting his exceptional skill and dedication.
During his first season in the Malawian elite league, the youngster featured in 17 matches, contributing one goal and five assists, before his impressive campaign was, unfortunately, cut short by a long-term injury.
The 2024 TNM Super League season marked Mapemba’s rise to the senior team, where he immediately made his mark after moving from our reserves.
From his debut appearance, Mapemba displayed maturity and confidence well beyond his years. His ability to control the game, create scoring opportunities, and deliver precise passes quickly turned him into a fan favorite.
The delayed 2024 TNM Super League Awards ceremony is scheduled for Friday, February 21, 2025, at the Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe.
