Kalisto Pasuwa is looking forward to a tough encounter in the FDH Bank Cup round-of-32 after Nyasa Big Bullets were drawn against Sable Farming.
The People’s Team will be away to the Chiradzulo-based TNM Super League side that plays its home games at Mpira Stadium.
“[We expect] a very difficult game against Sable Farming. We played them when we were preparing for the new season in a friendly match and we lost that match,” he told club media on Thursday. “I am one person who has been telling the players that each and every team we face, they will put everything on us and we are made to run.
“Last season, our reserves made us run for our money in order for us to proceed to the next round and at Sable, they have three to four guys who played for our reserve team in that match last year, so it won’t be easy for us, we need to prepare well in order for us to proceed.”
The winner between the two teams will face the winner between Moyale Barracks and Ngwanje FC in the Round of 16.
Sable are rookies in the elite league following their promotion from the Southern Region Football League Premier Division last season and are currently third from the bottom of the TNM Super League table.
Bullets, currently at the top of the Super League standings, are enjoying one of their best forms in the recent seasons and will be looking forward to winning the FDH Bank Cup this season after being booted out in the quarter-finals by Silver Strikers last season.
During the round-of-32 draw conducted at the Mpira Village on Thursday, Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves were paired against Super League side Mighty Tigers, a side that was beaten by the senior team 5-0 in a league tie at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday.
