Wongani Lungu has been voted the Hubertus Clausius Player of the Month for December.
The midfielder stood out in every match played in the final month of the season, consistently delivering exceptional performances.
In our Round of 16 clash against Hilltop United in the Castel Challenge Cup, the midfielder earned the Player of the Match award for his commanding display.
Come the next stage of the competition less than a week later, Lungu sealed a memorable moment by scoring a brilliant strike from the edge of the box in our 3-1 victory over MMF Marines in the quarterfinals of the Castel Challenge Cup.
He got 43% of the supporters’ votes, more than Lloyd Aaron, Babatunde Adepoju, and Nickson Nyasulu.
