TNM Super League kick-off time changed

The Super League of Malawi has announced the change of kick-off time for TNM Super League matches starting with the midweek fixtures.

Effective Wednesday, all league games will be kicking off at 15h00 from 14h30.

Announcing the adjustment on Tuesday, Sulom cited the weather forecast and projected heat wave in Malawi.

“In light of the weather forecast and projected heat wave, the Super League of Malawi wishes to inform all stakeholders and the general public that the kick off time for TNM Super League games has been changed from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm with immediate effect,” communicated the domestic league runners.

There are four games this Wednesday to wrap up Matchweek 21 of this TNM Super League campaign, two lined up in the South and two in the Central Region.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, currently sitting in ninth position in the standings, will host fourth-placed Creck Sporting Club at Kamuzu Stadium as Bangwe All Stars, who handed Kalisto Pasuwa’s men their third defeat of the campaign last Thursday, will welcome fellow relegation-threatened Baka City at Balaka Stadium.

At Chitowe Stadium in Dwangwa, Mafco, who are one place below Bullets in the table, will welcome 12th-placed Waka Waka Mighty Tigers, while Kamuzu Barracks, sixth in the standings, will take on Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos, who are five steps below the Chiwoko Boys.

Coming from a 4-2 victory over Chitipa United, Bullets, with 27 points from 18 games, will be seeking to collect all three points against Creck to move into the Top 8 of the league table, before travelling to the North where we will face Baka City at Karonga Stadium on Sunday before facing Mzuzu City Hammers in the Green City.
