FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach Peter Mponda has confirmed his starting line-up for this afternoon’s TNM Super League clash against Dedza Dynamos at Kamuzu Stadium. Kick-off is at 14:30 CAT.
Leading the line for The People’s Team is striker Babatunde Adepoju, who will wear the armband this afternoon.
Regular skipper Frank Willard has been named on the bench, giving the Nigerian forward the chance to captain Maule in a league fixture for the first time this season.
There’s a major milestone for Aaron Chilipa, who has been handed his first full start for the senior team.
The defender, who rejoined Maule on loan during the summer transfer window, made his senior debut last weekend as a late substitute in the FDH Bank Cup against The Boys SFC.
Today, he steps into the XI at Kamuzu Stadium as he continues his journey in Bullets colours.
Khumbo Banda also features in the starting line-up, lining up against his former side for the first time since his arrival in Blantyre.
The defender joined Bullets during the mid-season window and will be eager to make his mark against his old employers.
Innocent Nyasulu continues to maintain his place in the starting XI and will play behind a back three of Khumbo Banda, Blessings Mpokera and Aaron Chilipa.
Yankho Singo, Paul Master, Mike Mkwate and Wongani Lungu form a strong midfield line, providing balance between defensive cover and attacking transition.
Further forward, Peter Banda, Chikumbutso Salima and Babatunde Adepoju (C) spearhead the attack, tasked with breaking down the Dedza Dynamos defence.
Mponda has several strong options on the bench. Frank Willard provides leadership and stability, while forwards Maxwell Phodo, Ephraim Kondowe, and Hassan Kajoke add attacking depth.
