FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are delighted to announce the signing of Liberian international Sheku Sheriff, subject to international clearance.
The midfielder has signed a two-year contract with The People’s Team after leaving LPRC Oilers at the end of the 2025/26 season.
A creative, left-footed attacking midfielder with an eye for the decisive pass and a recognised threat from set-pieces, Sheriff adds another dimension to Wedson Nyirenda’s midfield and attacking options.
Born in Grand Cape Mount County, the 26-year-old began his senior career with NTA Professionals before joining Gardnersville FC in 2015.
He moved to LISCR FC the following year and spent eight seasons at the club, winning six trophies and featuring in the CAF Champions League qualifiers.
Sheriff left LISCR in 2024 and spent the 2024/25 campaign with Shaita FC before joining LPRC Oilers. He recorded four goals and five assists in 14 league appearances during the 2025/26 season.
His international career began with Liberia’s Under-20 side at the 2018 WAFU tournament. He has since represented the senior national team in Africa Cup of Nations and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Sheriff becomes Bullets’ first signing of the summer transfer window, which opened on Saturday, and Nyirenda’s first since the head coach took charge in June.
Sheriff said:

Nyirenda said:
“We have been looking for an attacking midfielder who can also operate further forward—someone with an eye for the decisive pass and a strong instinct for goal. Sheriff possesses those attributes.
“We have very good midfielders, but we wanted to add a player capable of arriving from deeper areas to create opportunities and threaten the goal. Greater competition will give us more balance across the team.
“Sheriff handles the ball well and uses space intelligently. He also has good character, leadership qualities and a strong mentality. We believe he will add value to the team and look forward to seeing him bring those qualities onto the pitch.”
