FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women midfielder Asimenye Mwanyongo has been voted the HTD Women’s Player of the Month for August following a series of impressive performances in the NBM Women Premiership.
The 20-year-old featured in all three of Bullets Women’s fixtures during the month, playing a key role as the team secured two wins and a draw, collecting seven points out of a possible nine to climb into fifth position on the log.
Her standout performance came in the emphatic 5-0 victory over Moyale Sisters, where she provided the assist for Mary Chavinda’s third goal and earned the Player of the Match award.
Mwanyongo’s creativity, sharp movement, and work rate in midfield were instrumental in keeping Bullets Women’s attacks fluid and dynamic throughout the month.
Across August, Bullets Women scored nine goals and conceded only once, with Mwanyongo consistently at the heart of play—whether linking attacks, creating chances, or driving the team forward from midfield.
Her performances underline her growing importance to FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women and reinforce why she is regarded as one of the most promising talents in Malawian women’s football.
Congratulations, Asimenye!
