Prince Chiumia signs for Bullets

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets is pleased to confirm the signing of Prince Chiumia, who joins the club from Ndirande Stars on a four-year deal.

The 17-year-old left-back has joined The People’s Team through the reserves and has already featured in a couple of preseason games for Heston Munthali’s side.

After completing the move, Chiumia shared his excitement about becoming part of Malawi’s most storied football clubs.

“I’m really happy to have signed for Bullets. This is a massive club, and I’m confident that being here will enhance my performance. I’m not intimidated by the challenge. The coaches and my new teammates have welcomed me warmly. My focus now is to work hard on my fitness to meet the expectations of the coaches and achieve success with the team.

Munthali was impressed with Chiumia’s mindset during trials, highlighting the teenager’s enthusiasm for learning and determination to enhance his skills.

“He’s still young, but his mentality is incredibly mature. With the right support and effort, we’re confident he’ll quickly adapt to the tactical demands of the game. He has the talent to play at a higher level. Along with his technical ability, his discipline and respect for the sport set him apart and position him to excel in a competitive environment. I have no doubt that, with proper guidance, Chiumia can make a big impact on the team.”

The defender becomes the fourth signing under Munthali, who is rebuilding the team fol the departure of several players at the end of last season.
