Congratulations Tabitha for Ballon d’Or nomination

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets congratulate Malawi’s most prolific footballer, Tabitha Chawinga, for being shortlisted for the 2023 Women’s Ballon d’Or.

Currently playing for French club Olympique Lyonnais Féminin, the striker is representing Africa on the 30-player nomination list together with Zambia’s Barbra Banda.

Presented by the France Football Magazine, the Ballon d’Or is one of the most prestigious awards in world football, honouring the best performers from the previous season.

The former Ascent Academy player becomes the first Malawian football player to receive such the highest recognition on the world stage to make her significant mark.

Bullets congratulate Chawinga for her outstanding presentation of Malawi football, all the best as the shortlist is determined.
