Gumbo signs new contract with Bullets until 2028

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are delighted to confirm that midfielder Chawanangwa Gumbo has signed a new three-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2028.

Gumbo has been with The People’s Team since 2022 and has developed into a key figure in the middle of the park, consistently delivering impactful performances in domestic competitions.

Since his arrival, the midfielder has made 86 appearances, contributing 14 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.

This season alone, Gumbo has already featured 13 times and remains an integral part of Peter Mponda’s setup.

Speaking about the contract extension, head coach Peter Mponda said:

“Gumbo has grown into one of the most dependable players in our squad. His understanding of our system, work ethic, and consistency are exactly what we want at Bullets. This is a player who has given everything for the badge since he joined us, and his decision to stay shows loyalty and belief in what we’re building. His commitment gives us stability as we continue pushing for more success.”
