Nyasa Big Bullets opponents in the 2021/2022 CAF Champions League preliminary round have been revealed following a draw conducted in Cairo, Egypt, on Friday.

The People’s Team will face South African Premier Soccer League side Amazulu FC and the first leg of the campaign is set for 10-12 September away in South Africa.

54 clubs have committed to participate in this edition of the biggest inter-club competition in Africa.

Bullets will be eager to make it to the second-round and possibly qualify for the group stages for the first time in almost a decade.

This will be the second time for the TNM Super League champions to play a South African club in the preliminary stages of the competition.

In 2004, Bullets had to beat Orlando Pirates 1-0 at Kamuzu Stadium to progress to the group stages of the competition.

Currently, Bullets are in Tanzania for a two-week CECAFA Kagame Cup 2021 tournament, which wraps up tomorrow with The People’s Team facing Ugandan side, Express FC, in the final.
