Nyasa Big Bullets are delighted to announce the signing of Ghanaian defender Isaac Badu.
The 30-year-old centre-half has joined The People’s Team on a two-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2024.
Badu is an experienced defender with Southern African football experience having spent some time at Zimbabwean side Bulawayo Chiefs following a stint with Ghanaian clubs Hearts of Lions, Bechem United and Accra Great Olympics.
Isaac Badu said he was looking forward to play for Bullets.
“I am excited to be part of this big family and to get to work under a coach of high caliber like [Kalisto Pasuwa] makes me happy. I cannot wait to play with such exciting talent at Bullets, a team which has skilled players, a team which plays good football and a team which is very united, so it’s a great feeling to play for this amazing club. I want to win more titles and cups and to do well in the CAF Champions League.”
Pasuwa was also very excited with his latest acquisition.
“We have added depth in our defence. Isaac is one of the players whom we have been looking for. Remember last time when we played international matches we didn’t have players with stature in defence and I believe brining Isaac will bring another type of flare in our defence. We welcome the boy and we wish him the best of luck.”
Badu is Bullets’ third signing of the season after the team recruited another centre-back Hadji Wali and midfielder Mphatso Magaleta.
