Nyasa Big Bullets have received a new Adidas match uniform from Into Sports.

The country’s leading sports gear merchant handed the red home kit, worth K2.5 million, to The People’s Team in Blantyre on Tuesday.

The presentation is part of the partnership which the two signed in 2019, when the Club received match balls from Into Sports to be used for the CAF Champions League.

While receiving the uniform, Bullets chief executive officer, Suzgo Nyirenda, reiterated that for the Club commercialization drive to be successful, there is need to continue striking partnerships with companies like Into Sports.

“We buy all our equipment from Into Sports and this is them giving back as a “thank you”. It’s a continued partnership which started two years ago, and this is one of the key partners we need in our commercialization drive because they are good at what they do,” said Nyirenda.

Into Sports managing director, Shabir Ismair, said he decided to provide the jersey as one way of appreciating the support he gets from Bullets and to motivate the players, who are now topping the TNM Super League standings.

“This jersey will be used for the rest of the season and come next season we will see what will be required. Bullets are one of our big clients; we supply all their soccer balls, cons and other equipment, so it’s just part of us giving back to them for their support,” said Ismair.

The Bullets CEO went further to reveal that the Club is looking into the introduction of its own wear, which he hopes will hit the market soon.

He said for these plans to be successful, Into Sports will play a very big role to ensure that the merchandise is distributed everywhere in the country.

“We are targeting Nyasa Brand, which will be distributed by Into Sports and other partners for us to reach all Bullets fans across. Whatever has happened today symbolizes our commitment to grow and make the club a very big brand. We are taking this seriously,” said Nyirenda.
