Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves coach Enos Chatama says he is looking for nothing but a win against the first team and progress to the next round of the FDH Bank Cup.
The junior team was drawn against the senior side for the Round of 32 encounter slated for this Saturday at Kamuzu Stadium.
Chatama spoke to Club media on Thursday ahead of the knockout tie…
Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves against the main team, your reaction to the draw?
“We expected it to happen either way because you don’t plan for a draw. After discovering that we are playing the main team, we accepted it and we are ready for the game on Saturday.”
Facing the main team, what sort of opposition are you expecting on Saturday?
“We expect a very tough opposition as you know the main team is a very strong team, a force to reckon with and the biggest team on the land and they have played and won alot of cup games. They are the league defending champions and our match will not be easy, but we will take the game away from them and fight till the end.”
What sort of a team should people anticipate you to feature on Saturday?
“I will feature my very best. We’ve played cup games in the last two years, we played Moyale Barracks where we lost on penalties, we played against Blue Eagles and we lost again through penalty shootout and this time around, we feel we are ready to face Bullets and we are not ready to surrender till the last minute.”
What’s your target in this competition?
“We don’t target anything. We are targeting Bullets and we want to win in order to progress to the next round on Saturday.”
Team news or maybe any injuries ahead of the match?
“May be one or two players may seem to be injured but almost each and every player is around and ready for the match.”
