Hubertus Clausius increases Bullets Player of the Month prize money

Hubertus Clausius, sponsors of the Maule Player of the Month, has increased the award’s prize money from K100,000 to K200,000 effective this season.

The company’s Financial Director, Malinda Chinyama, announced the adjustment when he met FCB Nyasa Big Bullets officials this week.

Chinyama confirmed that Hubertus Clausius Malawi decided to motivate our players even more as Bullets aim to defend the TNM Super League title and the FDH Bank Cup as Kalisto Pasuwa’s side also eyes the Castel Challenge Cup and the Airtel Top 8 in the 2023 season.

“We want to build on last season’s performance by motivating the players to perform much better during the current season. Players should fight to defend the league and win other competitions while supporters continue buying our products and services,” he said.

Bullets Chief Administrative Officer, Albert Chigoga, has hailed Hubertus for the timely gesture when our players are looking for all the motivation they can get for the club’s success.

“As one of our true partners in the game, we are happy with what Hubertus has done. Our success as a club derives from the motivated players. This award will increase competition and performance amongst our players,” reacted Chigoga.

The insurance blockers signed an agreement with The People’s Team in May last year to sponsor the monthly accolades.

The first beneficiary of this new package will be striker Lanjesi Nkhoma, named Player of the Month for April.

Nkhoma is the leading scorer in the TNM Super League with seven goals and has three assists in the seven games Bullets have played this season.
