FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves are back on the road this Saturday as they travel to Chilomoni Stadium for a mouthwatering SRFA Thumbsup League clash against newly-promoted Chilomoni FC.
The young Maule are in sensational form, currently sitting at the top of the table with 26 points from 11 matches. Fresh from a dominant 3-0 victory over FC Thondwe at Kamuzu Stadium, confidence is sky-high in the Bullets Reserves camp.
Under the guidance of Coach Heston Munthali, the team has been playing with belief, discipline, and attacking flair — qualities they’ll look to showcase again this weekend.
“We’ve had a strong run, but every game is a new challenge. Chilomoni are new to the league, but they’ve shown they can compete. We’ll approach this match with the same hunger and discipline we’ve built our season on. The boys are ready,” Munthali told club media ahead of the tie.
This fixture marks the first-ever meeting between the two sides. Chilomoni FC, who gained promotion from the Sultan Concrete Building Block Division One last season, have adapted well to the league and sit sixth with 13 points from nine games. They’ll be determined to make a bold statement against the in-form visitors.
With the hosts eager to impress on home turf and Bullets Reserves aiming to extend their momentum, Saturday’s encounter promises to be an exciting contest filled with intensity, passion, and high-quality football.
