Chikumbutso Salima has been voted the September HTD Player of the Month after dominating the poll with 70.73% of the total votes.
The 23-year-old winger was directly involved in four of the six goals Bullets scored in the just-ended month. He netted against The Boys SFC in the FDH Bank Cup Round of 16 before producing a dazzling performance against Dedza Dynamos in the TNM Super League, where he scored once, assisted another, and forced a deflection for the third goal.
His standout showing in the Dedza fixture earned him the Player of the Match award, capping off a stellar month in which he drove Bullets’ attack with pace, energy, and end product.
This recognition marks his third HTD Player of the Month crown this season following wins in May and July, underlining his consistency and growing influence in The People’s Team’s charge for silverware.
Salima comfortably outshone fellow nominees, with Paul Master collecting 11.75%, Innocent Nyasulu 9.83%, and Blessings Mpokera 7.69%.
