Precious Phiri has been voted the Hubertus Clausius Player of the Month for September.
The versatile player made two appearances out of the four matches The People’s Team played in the fifth month of the ongoing season.
Phiri had starts in our home and away fixtures against TP Mazembe in the CAF Champions League and although Maule suffered a 5-0 defeat, the extending right-back put up eye-catching performances.
This is the first time in his Bullets career that Phiri emerges winner of the monthly accolade.
He was competing against midfielders Patrick Mwaungulu and Ernest Petro for the September Player of the Month.
The former Mighty Tigers player is so far enjoying what seems to be his best season in red and white colours and the POTM award will only encourage him to many better performances.
Congratulations to Precious, keep it up!
