FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach Peter Mponda has announced this afternoon’s starting XI for the 78th Blantyre derby against Mighty Wanderers at Kamuzu Stadium.
Mponda has made two changes to the side that started against Mafco FC on Tuesday, with Peter Banda and Bright Munthali making way for Andrew Jovinala and Chikumbutso Salima.
Innocent Nyasulu retains his place between the posts after keeping a clean sheet in the 3-0 midweek win over Mafco.
At the back, Khumbo Banda and Aaron Chilipa operate on the flanks, while Blessings Mpokera partners Andrew Jovinala, who returns from injury after being forced off against The Boyz SFC in the FDH Bank Cup Round of 16 on 30 September.
In midfield, captain Frank Willard anchors the setup alongside Paul Master and Chawanangwa Gumbo.
In attack, Chikumbutso Salima links up with Hassan Kajoke and Ephraim Kondowe in what promises to be a lively front three.

The bench includes youngster Austin Chirambo, who makes his first-ever Blantyre derby matchday squad, taking the spot of Mponda’s second-choice Richard Chimbamba, while Peter Banda starts from the bench after featuring in five consecutive games.
The People’s Team go into the derby sitting top of the TNM Super League with 49 points from 20 games, four ahead of second-placed Wanderers, who still have a game in hand.
Kick-off is at 14:30 at Kamuzu Stadium.
