Kondwani Tebulo has been named the FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves HTD Player of the Month for December.
The award follows a string of commanding performances that helped our second team finish the month strongly in the 2025 ThumbsUp Southern Region Football League.
Tebulo featured in all four league fixtures during December. Heston Munthali’s side recorded three wins and a draw, scoring an emphatic 15 goals while conceding just one. The Malawi U20 star directly contributed to six of those goals with four strikes and two assists, underlining his importance during a decisive phase of the campaign.
His standout display came in the 8–0 demolition of Chilomoni FC, where Tebulo delivered a masterclass—netting a hat-trick and providing an assist, showcasing his composure and clinical finishing. He followed that up with another assured performance in the 4–1 victory over Immigration FC, registering a goal and an assist while demonstrating creativity and leadership in the final third.
Beyond the numbers, Tebulo’s work rate, intelligent link-up play, and consistency set the tone for the team throughout the month. Whether stretching defenses with his runs or dropping deep to connect play, he remained a constant threat and a reliable outlet for his teammates.
His December exploits were key in helping the side secure a third-place finish in the league—a testament to both his individual brilliance and his contribution to the collective effort.
The HTD Reserves Player of the Month award is a fitting recognition for Tebulo’s outstanding form, consistency, and impact. He not only delivered goals and assists but also embodied the fighting spirit and attacking ambition of Bullets.
In addition to his club success, Tebulo was named in the Malawi Under-20 provisional squad for the first phase of preparations ahead of the 12th African Union Sports Council Region 5 Youth Tournament, set for July 2026 in Mozambique. The call-up is a clear testament to his growing reputation at the national level.
