Share

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will open the defence of their TNM Super League title with an away fixture against Dedza Dynamos.

On Saturday, the Super League of Malawi announced the 2024 season fixtures as the campaign is scheduled to kick off next weekend.

The first three fixtures will see Kalisto Pasuwa’s men travelling to Dedza Stadium on the opening day, before playing their first home game against Mighty Tigers a week later.

In the third week, the 2023 quadruple winners will travel to Karonga to face Chitipa United.

The fourth week will see Bullets hosting the newly-promoted Baka City, before the highly anticipated Blantyre derby against rivals Mighty Mukuru Wanderers on 4 May.

Bullets will be hoping for a better start to the season against one of the two sides they lost to last campaign.

The People’s Team won the championship for a fifth successive season with 60 points, three above Silver Strikers, who had 57 points.

In the 2023 season, Bullets registered 16 wins, 12 draws and two losses to claim a record 17th league title after scoring 49 goals.

Our possible title contenders will all start their campaigns at home. Wanderers will host Kamuzu Barracks at Kamuzu Stadium while Silver Strikers will face Super League returnees Chitipa United at Silver Stadium.

In the second week, the Central Bankers will host Bangwe All Stars while our city rivals will travel to Mulanje to rock horns with rookies, FOMO.
