Bullets Youth smash Aphalsoft Academy 4-0

Share

Nyasa Big Bullets Youth continued their blistering start to the 2022 First Capital Bank U-20 League season following their 4-0 romp of Aphalsoft Academy.

Twice, the young kids of Maule hit the post in the first half before they opened the scoring through Hellings Mhango, who headed home Joseph Saiwa’s free-kick in the 23rd minute.

The visitors had a chance to provide a quick reply but failed to capitalise on the defensive mix-up in the box.

However, the opening goal did not change the temple and the openness of the game for both sides until the end of the first half.

Aphalsoft’s tight marking and quickness to close the spaces restricted Bullets Youth to scoring only a single goal in the first half but after the interval, the scoring became freely for our young players.

Aubrey Masfold doubled the lead soon after the restart with a strike from outside the box. Punishing the now unsettled visitors the new signing and Flames U-17 captain Blessings Kanowa scored the third goal after being set up by Matamando Matchipisa.

Wrapping up the scoring, silky midfielder Blessings Mofolo found the back of the net late in the game.

The final 4-0 scoreline is the repeat of last season’s second leg result in this similar fixture. In the early league standings, the perfect result on Saturday puts Nyasa Big Bullets Youth on top.
