The 2022 FDH Bank Cup final between Nyasa Big Bullets and Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves has been shifted from 8 to 23 October.

Football Association of Malawi has changed the date following a clash of fixtures with the Cosafa U-20 Youth Championship scheduled to take place in eSwatini from 6 to 16 October.

Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves has contributed eight players to the Flames U-20 squad, set to leave the country for eSwatini on 3 October.

In its jurisdiction, the FA allows teams to excuse themselves from playing competitive games if they contribute more than three players to the national team.

The venue for the FDH Bank Cup final, which has been widely dubbed as “a family affair” by the local press, remains Kamuzu Stadium.

Our reserves knocked out three TNM Super League teams before beating their fellow second-tier outfit, Extreme FC 2-1, to secure their place in the final.

To become finalists in this year’s FDH Bank Cup, Nyasa Big Bullets senior team humiliated Mighty Mukuru Wanderers 4-0 last Saturday at the Bingu National Stadium.
