FDH Bank Cup round-of-16 details confirmed

Dates and venues for Nyasa Big Bullets FDH Bank Cup round-of-16 matches have been confirmed.

The People’s Team has both the senior and reserves teams in the last 16 of the 2022 campaign of the cup.

Football Association of Malawi (FAM), confirmed on Monday that Bullets Reserves will travel to Balaka Stadium to play Red Lions on Sunday, 31 July, while the main team will be at home to host Moyale Barracks on 7 August.

To reach this stage, Kalisto Pasuwa’s men hammered Sable Farming 3-1 at Mulanje Park, while Enos Chatama’s boys eliminated Mighty Tigers 3-2 on penalties at Mpira Stadium.

In its inaugural year, Bullets defeated their junior side on penalties before pouncing on Mighty Tigers with a 2-0 scoreline, but their journey ended at Silver Stadium when they lost to Silver Strikers 4-3 on penalties.

The FDH Bank Cup round-of-16 fixtures will be played between 29th July to 7th August 2022.
