In recognition of his exceptional performances, Nickson Nyasulu has been honoured with the Hubertus Clausius Player of the Month award for August.
He played every minute of every game for us throughout August, with his impressive displays earning him a recall to Patrick Mabedi’s Malawi Senior National Team.
The centre-half received the FDH Bank Cup and Paramount Concrete Products Player of the Match awards for his formidable defensive display in our 1-0 victory over Civil Service United in the quarter-finals of the competition which The People’s Team eventually lost to Blue Eagles in the final.
Nyasulu got more votes than the other nominees, Lloyd Aaron, Gomezgani Chirwa and Babatunde Adepoju to win this award.
