Kalisto Pasuwa has been named the TNM Super League Coach of the Season for 2023 at the prestigious award ceremony held in Blantyre on Friday night.
The FCB Nyasa Big Bullets guided his side to a fifth league title in a row as The People’s Team won a 17th championship.
Bullets won the title with 60 points after winning 16 out of the 30 fixtures, drawing 12 times and losing twice during a campaign Pasuwa’s men scored 49 goals.
The Zimbabwean defended the league title he started winning when he became head coach for the Malawi champions in 2018.
He picked up the prominent annual TNM Super League prize after seeing off competition from Chitipa United coach Macdonald Mtetemera.
This is Pasuwa’s second successive accolade after he was also named Coach of the Season for the 2022 campaign.
On the same night, Patrick Mwaungulu was named Best Midfielder and Player of the Season, while our new signing Innocent Nyasulu, who joined us two days ago from Mighty Tigers was named Goalkeeper of the Season.
