Six FCB Nyasa Big Bullets stars have been named in Patrick Mabedi’s Malawi squad for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Burundi and Burkina Faso.
The Flames coach announced his squad Friday morning at the Football Association of Malawi headquarters in Chiwembe, Blantyre.
Innocent Nyasulu, Precious Sambani, Lloyd Aaron and Wongani Lungu have retained their senior Malawi national team spots.
Likely to make the headlines in the local media is the return of defenders Gomezgani Chirwa and Nickson Nyasulu, who are joining Mabedi’s squad after a lengthy absence.
The Flames will host Burundi on September 5 before travelling to West Africa to face Burkina Faso four days later.
