African Herbal Mixture U19 Cup Draw: Bullets in Group B

Defending champions FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Under 19s have been placed in Group B of the 2025 African Herbal Mixture Cup alongside Ntopwa FC, Ekhaya Youth and Airsport United.

This was revealed during a draw conducted at Mpira Village in Blantyre on Monday.

The tournament, which kicks off on 22 February, promises to deliver thrilling football action as the best youth teams from the district compete for glory in the Za Natural Cup.

Bullets, the most successful team in the Under 19 competition’s history, will be aiming to defend their title and secure a record-breaking third trophy. Since the tournament’s inception in 2023, the young Bullets have dominated, winning it twice.

However, their journey to another title will not be straightforward, as they face a challenging Group B that includes two newly promoted teams, Ekhaya Youth and Ntopwa FC, as well as the formidable Airport United.

Reacting to the draw, Bullets U19s coach, Yamikani Fodya said: “We are happy with the draw, but we know it won’t be easy. Having two newly promoted teams in our group means we cannot afford to underestimate anyone. They will come with hunger and determination, and we must be ready for that. Our goal is to defend the title, and we are prepared to give our all to achieve that.”

The tournament’s format will see the top two teams from each group advance to the quarterfinals, adding extra pressure for every match.

In Group A, Agumbala FC, Nyambadwe United, Lyzee United, and Ndirande Dortmund will battle for the top spots.

Group C features Wanderers Youth, Youngstars FC, Soche Madrid and Yizo Yizo, while Group D includes Griffin Youngstars, CC Stars, Manchester Motors and Extending Hope.

Za Natural Cup has become a cornerstone for developing young football talent, and the 2025 edition is expected to showcase the next generation of stars.
