FCB Nyasa Big Bullets forward Anthony Mfune is expected to fly back to Malawi on Tuesday following a successful knee surgery in Zambia.
Mfune underwent the operation on his left knee after he suffered a medial condyle stage five osteochondral defect in July.
Upon his return, the 24-year-old will continue his rehabilitation programme with the Bullets’ medical team.
While Mfune is expected to return to action later this year, no timescale is being placed upon his comeback.
