FCB Nyasa Big Bullets confirms that the men’s senior team’s trip to Mozambique for an international friendly match against UD Songo has been cancelled.
The Malawi Champions were scheduled to travel to Songo this week to play the Mozambican side on Saturday, 23 March 2024.
Bullets will however not be able to travel for the match as arranged due to the unavailability of several players due to the Malawi National Team’s engagement in the Four-Nation Tournament involving the Flames, Kenya, Zambia and Zimbabwe senior and Under-20 teams from 23-26 March in Lilongwe. Ten players of Kalisto Pasuwa’s squad are out for national duty.
In addition to the players who are with the Malawi National Team, five of our players are nursing various injuries.
The Club sincerely regrets any inconvenience this cancellation might have caused.
