Lloyd Aaron has clinched the Hubertus Claudius Player of the Month award for May after an impressive series of performances.
The midfielder showcased exceptional consistency throughout the month, appearing in all four matches The People’s Team played.
Despite the team only securing one victory in the TNM Super League during this period, Aaron stood out as a breath of fresh air.
Since joining us from Civil Service United before the start of this 2024 season, Aaron has firmly established himself, and his contributions were particularly notable last month when he played a pivotal role in midfield.
In a close contest for the award, Aaron received more votes than nominees Patrick Mwaungulu and vice-captain Gomezgani Chirwa. This achievement marks his first Player of the Month award since joining the Malawi champions.
