Peter Banda returns to Bullets

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are delighted to announce the signing of Peter Banda.

The 22-year-old has rejoined The People’s Team after agreeing to a deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2023 season.

Peter returns to Bullets after he left the club to join Moldovan champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol at the end of the 2020 season on loan, before completing a permanent move to Tanzanian side Simba SC in 2021.

The midfielder said he decided to rejoin the Malawi champions after leaving Tanzania because of the love he shares with his childhood club.

“I am back to the club that I love and I am very excited to rejoin the team. I wasn’t having game time at Simba SC, so I decided to come back. It was easy for me to make this decision because of the love I receive from the coach and the fans,” he told club media.

On what to expect from him, Banda said: “I don’t want to say much, but I will give it all for this club. I am still the same player, and I will try my level best to do the job for my new team. There is a lot to play for, and I am geared for the challenge.”

Peter, a son to the late Bullets legend Chikondi Banda, won two consecutive titles with The People’s Team before moving to Moldova.

The player will be available for selection subject to international clearance.

Welcome back home, Peter!
