TNM Super League Matchweek 29/30 dates revised

Share

Sulom has revised the schedule of upcoming games in Matchweek 29/30 of the 2023 TNM Super League campaign.

The revision includes FCB Nyasa Big Bullets’ outings to Dedza Dynamos and Karonga United.

According to Sulom, Bullets will play Dedza on Thursday, 23 November and not 24 hours earlier as initially scheduled, with our encounter against Karonga shifted from 29 November to 30 November.

While the dates have changed, venues and kick-off times remain the same. The defending champions will face ninth-placed Dedza Dynamos at Dedza Stadium and Karonga United, who are seventh in the standings, at Karonga Stadium. Both matches will start at 15:00.

The Super League of Malawi has also moved Mighty Mukuru Wanderers vs Mighty Tigers, Silver Strikers vs Kamuzu Barracks and Moyale Barracks vs Mafco matches to Thursday.

The changes have been effected in consideration of the upcoming Malawi national team’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Liberia away in Monrovia on Friday before hosting Tunisia at the Bingu National Stadium on Tuesday.

Playing away to Dedza on the new date might also affect our Airtel Top 8 semifinal fixture against Blue Eagles, slated for Saturday, 25 November, at the Bingu National Stadium.

After the international break, The People’s Team will be on the road again to complete the three away fixtures before returning to Blantyre to host Silver Strikers in our final match of the TNM Super League this campaign on 3 December at Kamuzu Stadium.

Bullets lead the TNM Super League standings with 56 points, two above the closest title chasers, Wanderers, but with a game in hand.

The defending champions need four points from the remaining three league games to retain the title for a fifth consecutive season.
