On Wednesday, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets announced a raffle with a K3 million motor scooter as the ultimate prize.

Bullets Chief Executive Officer Albert Chigoga unveiled this during a media conference in Blantyre.

Dubbed “Win a Scooter Promotion,” the raffle will run from 1 November 2024 to 31 January 2025, and a ticket costs K1,000.

Chigoga said the idea behind the competition is to appreciate the supporters who have been there for the team despite Bulets’ tough season, especially in the TNM Super League.

“It’s an appreciation for our loyal fans who haven’t snubbed us despite a tough start to the season. We started badly, and one would think that the fans would run away, but they have been there for us. Our gate revenue collection can testify that they have been patronizing our games. So, as one way of thanking them, we have come up with this competition, and the winner will walk away with this magnificent scooter,” he told journalists.

The FCB Nyasa Big Bullets “Win a Scooter Promotion” ultimate prize.

“This campaign will take three months. The current market value for this scooter is K3 million. This is not just an ordinary scooter; for that reason, we are saying buy one ticket at K1000; you are automatically qualified for this competition, and with one ticket, you stand a chance of winning this scooter as our grand prize.

“There are also Bullets jerseys as weekly draws consolation prizes. We encourage fans to buy as many raffle tickets as they can to increase their chances of winning this scooter. It’s an opportunity for them to use it for business or transportation.”

“[But] it must be emphasized that not everybody qualifies for this campaign. Others will not be eligible because of their affiliation with this club. We want to allow supporters in the urban and rural areas to participate in this competition,” explained Chigoga.

The Bullets commercial manager also revealed plans to introduce an online system for supporters to access the raffle tickets.

“Plans are underway to create an online platform to access tickets easily. I am encouraging our supporters and the general public to welcome this promotion as part of the commercialization process that we embarked on in 2016,” said Moyo.

Stone Mwamadi, the Bullets national committee chairman, expressed excitement about the promotion’s launch.

“We are grateful to the Board and Management for coming up with this competition to appreciate the supportive supporters. As the supporters committee, we will reach out to the zones so every supporter can participate in this competition,” said Mwamadi.

Tickets for the promotion will be sold in all the regions across the country.
