Midfielder Clever Kalambo signs for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets on a three-year deal

Clever Kalambo joins Bullets on long-term deal

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets can confirm the signing of Clever Kalambo, who has joined the club on a three-year contract running until 2029, with an option to extend.

The 18-year-old midfielder arrives at The People’s Team as a free agent following his stint with Moyale Barracks during the 2025 season.

Kalambo adds depth to Bullets’ squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign as the club looks to mount a strong challenge for the FDH Bank Premiership title.

Before joining Moyale, the youngster featured for Chilumba Barracks, Silver Strikers Reserves and Zomba Airbase.

Speaking to Bullets Media after completing his move, Kalambo expressed his excitement at joining Malawi’s biggest football club.

“It’s a big team with plenty of opportunities. When Bullets came calling, I couldn’t hesitate to join. My future is now bright,” he said.

After an impressive season with Moyale Barracks, the midfielder believes the move will help him take his game to the next level.

“I will try my level best to perform well at my new club and improve my game. I know it won’t be easy because this is a big team compared to the previous clubs I played for. But I am very confident that I will adapt and perform even better than in my previous seasons,” he added.

Kalambo said joining Bullets was an easy call despite attracting interest from elsewhere.

“It was a simple decision. Bullets is a big club with big ambitions, and I wanted to be part of that,” he said.

Kalambo becomes Bullets’ seventh signing ahead of the 2026/27 season.

He joins goalkeepers Pilirani Mapira and McLean Mwale, defenders Ahmad Kung’unde and Emmanuel Kaunga, and forwards George Chaomba and Dastan Banda among the club’s new additions ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
