Share

Nyasa Big Bullets have been drawn against MAFCO FC in the quarter-finals of the 2021 Airtel Top 8.

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) on Sunday released fixtures for the Top 8 competition, which kicks off October end.

As is tradition, the quarter-finals will be played over two legs, with the first legs where away goal and goal aggregate score rules shall apply.

However, the semi-finals and final shall be played on knockout basis in single fixtures.

In the first-round of the competition, the teams that finished in the top four positions of the Super League season will be the home teams in the first leg.

This is how the teams have been paired:

Nyasa Big Bullets vs MAFCO FC

Silver Strikers vs TN Stars

Mighty Wanderers vs Moyale Barracks

Civil Sporting Club vs Karonga United

The 2021 Airtel Top 8 is being sponsored to the tune of K78 million, with the winner set to walk away with K17. 5 million.

The competition will run from October to December and it will mark the end of the 2020/21 season, which was extended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
