Dates for the 2023 Castel Challenge Cup semi-final fixtures have finally been revealed.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will be the home side against rivals Mighty Mukuru Wanderers while Bangwe All Stars will host Silver Strikers.

The Football Association of Malawi confirmed on Tuesday that the champions of Malawi will face the Nomads this Sunday, 24 hours after the Bangwe versus Silver tie.

In a communication, FAM also confirmed that both matches will be played at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

Bullets will meet Wanderers for the fourth time this season, having beaten the blue side of town 2-1 in the NBS Bank Charity Shield before we shared the spoils following goalless and 1-1 stalemates in the just-ended TNM Super League campaign.

It will be the third time in a row to face the Nomads in the semi-finals of major domestic cups.

In 2021, Kalisto Pasuwa’s men ran riot over Mark Harrison’s side with a 4-1 triumph in the Airtel Top 8 last-four fixture.

The following year, we met in the semi-finals of the FDH Bank Cup at the Bingu National Stadium where we thumped our opponents 4-0.

The winner between the two rivals will face Bangwe All Stars or Silver Strikers in the final in Lilongwe later this month.

Bullets, winners of the FDH Bank Cup and TNM Super League this season, have also reached the final of the Airtel Top 8 and will meet the winner between Silver and Mafco.
