Bullets secure Player of the Match sponsor

Share

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have unveiled Paramount Concrete Products as the official sponsor for the first team’s Player of the Match Award.

The partnership was announced at a press conference at the clubhouse in Blantyre on Friday and is worth K7.5 million. This agreement will run for one season and is subject to renewal at the end of the 2024 campaign.

Bullets players will vote for the best performer at the end of every game, and the Player of the Match will get a miniature and K75,000.

Our Chief Administrative Officer, Albert Chigoga, marked the coming in of PCP as timely going into Matchweek 2 of the new TNM Super League campaign.

“Strategically, we would like our players to know that there is something that they should sweat for. As they are making the supporters happy and bringing silverware to this football club, they should also be getting something. We are very happy for Paramount Concrete Products for coming at the right time.”

Managing Director for Paramount Concrete Products, Arthur Kalinde, described the partnership as a win-win move.

“This partnership will help the two entities to move forward. We decided to partner with Bullets as a business to support the club’s expansion drive as we motivate the players to continue working hard on the pitch. But we also want the club to help our company reach out to as many Malawians and international clients looking for quality construction services and concrete products.

“We believe football, as a commercial platform, has the capacity to help take our brand to the next level. We are certain that Bullets will enable our entity to boost our business growth and elevate our
competitive edge on the market.”

Paramount Concrete Products Limited is a wholly Malawian-owned manufacturer of various commercial and residential precast concrete materials.

In awarding individual player performances at Bullets, Paramount Concrete Products joins Hubertus Clausius, which sponsors the Player of the Month award, and Precious Medical International, which sponsors the Goal of the Month award.
